The
Hauser Diet,
Temperature, and Blood pH
Understanding the relationship of temperature to blood pH is
key to
understanding the basic tenants of the Hauser
Diet. Knowing whether
you
feel
better in hot or cold weather can give tremendous clues into
what diet
is
best for you.
The effect of temperature on blood pH levels is typically that
the
higher
the temperature, the higher the blood pH. Therefore, typically
people
with
higher blood pH levels require more carbohydrates in their diets
(Monkeys
and Giraffes). Likewise, the colder the temperature, the lower
the
blood pH,
requiring more protein and fat in the diet (Lion or Otter Diets).
This map of the US takes the averages high and low temperatures
for
each of
the 50 states. The Hauser
Diet theorizes that the higher the
average
temperature for the state, the higher the average blood pH level
would
be,
consequently, the higher the amount of Monkeys and Giraffes in
that
state.
Conversely, the lower the temperatures, the lower the average
blood pH
level
would be, therefore, the more Otters and Lions in that state.
Obviously variations occur, and each person is treated as an
individual
when
receiving actual Diet
Typing testing. A person's overall medical
condition
also plays a role, as do other factors. However, you can never
underestimate
the effect of temperature on blood pH!
